Atomize's forecasting module provides you with daily forecasts for up to 90 days, as well as monthly forecasts for the full year. You can easily add your own forecast and budget, as well as export the data.
Get to know the module
Atomize forecasting module enables you to analyse the system forecast, on-the-books numbers, and last years performance for the following KPIs: Revenue, Room night, ADR, RevPAR, and Occupancy. The data is presented in intuitive graphs, offering a visual representation of the key metrics.
Simply click on each KPI in the header bar, and the chart below will dynamically update to display the selected KPI. Additionally, hover over each bar to view the precise values associated with both bars and lines.
In the date picker, in the top left corner, you can select if you want to study daily forecast numbers or monthly.
Note that daily forecast numbers are available for the current month and the next two.
Monthly forecast number are available for as many months as you get price recommendations for.
Easily add your budget and your own forecast
What makes the forecasting module even more usable is the possibility to effortlessly enter your budget as well as your own forecast and compare these estimates to the system forecast. Click on "Enter budget" or "Enter user forecast" to open the input window.
There are some smart shortcuts that can support your calculations:
- You can select to auto calculate Revenue, RevPAR, and Occupancy based on the estimated Room nights and ADR that you enter.
- It is also possible to let the system auto calculate the monthly values based on the daily values you enter.
- Another shortcut is to paste values from e.g. the Atomize forecast, or from your Budget to your User forecast and then alter as you wish, saving valuable time. If you have access to your historical data in Atomize, you will also have the option to paste these values. You can select to either paste the values to empty fields, or to all fields (overriding any existing values).
Note! The auto calculation need to be manually activate by clicking on the switch in the top. By doing so, the fields that will be auto calculated becomes disabled, meaning you cannot enter anything in them.
Also note that you should activate the auto calculation first, then enter the values in order for the calculation to be executed.
You can enter your budget or user forecast for all months of the upcoming year. Please note that the graph only displays future months for which price recommendations are available. However, as a month enters the period with price recommendations, the budget or user forecast for that month will automatically be shown in the graph.
Download of the data
It is possible to download the data for the selected time period by clicking on "Export". A CSV-file that can be opened in tools like Excel, Numbers, Google Spreadsheets, or in other databases, will be downloaded.
